San Andreas 2, a planned sequel to the 2015 disaster film “San Andreas,” has been in development for several years. Warner Bros. Entertainment greenlit the project in 2017, but it has faced multiple delays due to script rewrites and production backlogs. As of January 2025, the film’s status remains uncertain.

The sequel was initially expected to focus on the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean, a different setting from the original film’s San Andreas Fault. A teaser trailer for “San Andreas 2: Next Chapter” was released on August 26, 2024, confirming the film’s release date for 2025. The film is set to star Dwayne Johnson, Paul Giamatti, and other original cast members. It will be directed by Brad Peyton, who helmed the first film.

As of now, there is no official streaming service or platform listed for “San Andreas 2,” and it is not available for streaming. Fans will have to wait until the film’s theatrical release in 2025 to watch it.
